Our Vision is to see these Projects to be successfully achieved by 2030

Empower women
We hold regular classes for young women with the aim of not only raising their educational and skills levels but also of increasing their confidence and helping them find their voice. Vocational training is designed to open up new income possibilities and bolster income generation in the village. Confidence training aids them in maneuvering their lives and family decisions within a highly patriarchal society. Our main project to achieve this goal is to start Sewing Machine Centers in different villages.
Disaster relief
It is not unusual for natural disasters to occur in India. Due to extreme poverty and substandard infrastructure, when disasters occur, it causes a desperate situation for the victims. Often, these people lose everything they have. Our vision is to provide disaster relief after earthquakes, cyclones, floods, droughts and tsunamis. With the help of donations from our supporters and help from beloved kind hearted people, SORD has distributed food, clothing, drinking water, temporary shelter and medical care to thousands of people.

Child care centres
Every child deserves to be taken care of and to have a home and family. Due to extreme poverty and illiteracy, millions of people that live in rural and remote villages of India are unable to feed their families due to limited work and sources. As a result, children in these communities are not getting sufficient nutritional food. Our goal is to establish and run Child Care Centers in every village to give opportunity for those unprivileged children to come freely and eat nutritional food, learn, play and go back to their homes with great joy and a hope knowing that there is a place available for them to go to and become version of themselves.
Awareness Programs
Local rural communities in India with low income and little formal education need increased awareness on important issues relevant for them and their families. The lack of basic knowledge results in many unnecessary issues for families that are easily remedied.
Less known problems, like the huge increase in sugar intake, are also important to educate. The other topics we bring to the communities and schools are; The importance of basic hygiene, sanitation, clean water, mental health issues, stigma, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Bullying, drug addiction, clean environment and so on.

Rural Housing Projects
Rural Housing Project by far is the most important project and our most focuses goal of SORD. There are millions of people living under unprivileged housing conditions and hundreds of them are living in tiny tents on the sides of the roads and unhygienic areas without any kind of hope. They are most affected when there is heavy rain. It is our vision to build shelters for those homeless families.
Handicapped Upliftment
In an era where ‘inclusive development’ is being emphasized as the right path towards sustainable development, focused initiatives for the welfare of disabled persons are essential. Disability is one of the core areas of work for the foundation and we have been supporting programs aiming at the empowerment of people with disabilities since inception. Affected by severe leprosy many years ago, there are many lepers living in a colony without any hope and help. It is a privilege for us to find and reach them every month helping them with food supplies and meeting their basic needs

Clean water facility
Many interior villages of south India are suffering because of the lack of clean drinking water. SORD is reaching the unreached by providing them with the Gift of Life: Clean Water. SORD is mobilizing resources to drill tube wells in villages. Clean water doesn’t just save lives, it changes them… forever. SORD provides water for more families with sensitization which is also with good hygiene to keep the people who are drinking, from all the various diseases which are now present in this generation and which are going to evolve.
Financial assistance to poor
SORD helps the poor and needy by giving them financial assistance. The orphans and widows are given priority but even others are considered in this project.

Medical camps and medical aid
Medical facilities are very limited in the villages of ANDHRA PRADESH State and even if it is available, many cannot afford it. SORD comes forward to help those needy people who cannot afford essential treatments. SORD also facilitates Medical camps on a regular basis in the villages where no medical facility is available.
